Crash Course Chemistry aired a new episode on YouTube every Monday, beginning three weeks after Crash Course Ecology's conclusion.
This is the first of Hank's series in which he collaborates with Thought Bubble, although he does not devote a segment of the program to animation, like John does. Also for the first time, Hank teaches sitting down, at a desk in a new set in Missoula, Montana (the construction of which was shown on vlogbrothers).
Like previous courses, he looks at chemistry from a biographical perspectives, teaching us of the lives and influences of such men as Antoine Lavoisier and Dmitri Mendeleev.
