Mike & Emma: Hey!

Mike: So we've got some exciting news about a project that we've been working on for a while, namely, we are joining forces with Patreon and Captain Planet style with our powers combined we're going to make How to Adult a little more awesome.  I actually met Captain Planet when I was five years old.

Emma: Really?

Mike: Yes.  He came to the local Toys R Us.

Emma: Was he blue?

Mike: He was indeed blue.

Emma: Did he have green hair?

Mike: Everything you hoped he would be, he was that.

Emma: That's awesome!  Patreon is a site where people can financially support projects that they love that don't have large stable funding.  It allows creators like us, it allows creators like us to continue making content that's free for everybody.  Basically, because no one is required to pay, some people elect to.

Mike: Anyone with a Paypal account or a credit/debit card, and when I say slash, I don't mean that it has to be a mutant combination like Captain Planet.

Emma: Okay.

Mike: Anyone with a Paypal account or a credit or a debit card can donate on a monthly basis, and if you do, you get some pretty sweet rewards.

Emma: We always thought that making this channel would be fun and exciting, but we never thought that we would be privileged enough to have such a helpful and creative and earnest and civil and awesome audience.

Mike: Some really exciting things have happened lately, including getting 100,000 subscribers and being featured on The Discovery Channel site and on Reddit, and all these things have happened because of you guys.

Emma: Over the past year or so since we've launched, we've gotten to meet many of you online and IRL.  You guys are awesome, and you inspire us to wanna keep making our videos more awesome.  With your support, we can make more creative videos with animation, we can get better equipment, we can film more collaborative videos, and we can travel to go on location with video shoots.

Mike: So if you would like to help us maintain and grow the community and channel, we hope you'll go to adult.  Also, if you're unable to donate, please know that we just so appreciate your viewership and support and we love you guys.

Emma: Yeees, we doooo!

Emma & Mike: Bye.

Emma: I don't know why my voice was like fading, as if we were like, as if this was a crane shot and we were just fading away, yep, can we do some crane shots?

Mike: Big time.
