Lizzie: Hey Everyone.  So like I said last time, I’ve been watching a lot of my videos.  It’s been… illuminating.  And also confusing.  I’m sure you have questions about all kinds of things that happened over the past year.  Believe me, I do too.  But then today happened.

My name is Lizzie Bennet and I have one more answer than I used to.

[Intro plays]

Lizzie: Are you sure this is a conversation you want to have on camera?

Lydia: Don’t worry, I’m… It’s fine.  I think this is something you’re gonna want on your videos.

Lizzie: Umm, okay.  Uh, what do you want to talk about?

Lydia: Darcy.

Lizzie:  You want to talk about Darcy.

Lydia: I’ve never been his biggest fan.  Uh… I didn’t like the things he said to you, or about you or the way he acted better than everyone else or the things he said about our family.

Lizzie: Yeah…

Lydia: But I still don’t… I don’t know him very well, I guess, apart from what I’ve seen in your videos and what I’ve… heard from… people, which is never a good way to know someone.  And, you know, I get it, he comes across one way when really there’s a lot more too him than that.

Lizzie: Uh, I’m still not sure why we’re umm…

Lydia: Because it was him, Lizzie.

Lizzie: What was him?

Lydia: Darcy is the one who took down the website.

Lizzie: Who told you that?

Lydia: I talked to some people.  You know me.  I have my ways.

Lizzie: It was Darcy?  You’re sure?

Lydia: Yeah.

Lizzie: [Stunned Silence] Wow.  Uh, I can’t believe he did that.

Lydia: I can’t really either.  But he did.  He bought out that company that owned the site and the tape and stopped them from ever releasing it.

Lizzie: What about copies.

Lydia:  The company had all the copies.  They had all the universal rights from… George.  When Darcy did what he did, he stopped him from ever making any money off of… what we…

Lizzie: Why were you looking into that?  I mean you can, if you want to of course, but are you okay?

Lydia: Yeah. Yeah. No, I just wondered who… and why… and I guess I needed to know…. When you care about someone, you’ll do anything for them whether they know or not because you can’t stand to see them hurt. And, uh, I guess I wondered if… after everything he had seen and realized just how-

Lizzie: Hey, we don’t have to talk about this.

Lydia: No, it’s okay. It is oh-kay.  I am trying to get better about opening up and talking to people.  Talking to you.  And it actually feels good, so thank you for listening.

Lizzie: Of course.  I’m glad that counseling is helping and you know I’m always here for you.  And thank you for telling me about Darcy.

Lydia: I thought you should know in case you wanted to do anything about it.

Lizzie: Why would I do anything?  I mean, we really should thank him, but this isn’t about me.

Lydia: Right.  It totally makes sense for someone to secretly buy out an entire company to shut down a website about one tape.  Anyway, when you talk to him, tell him thanks for me.

Lizzie: Lydia, are you sure you want me to post all of this?

Lydia: Yeah. Yeah.
