John: Look, I'm not going to sugarcoat it: winter is cold here at Kenyon. But the fall colors make it worth it. I mean, look no further than any piece of marketing material sent out by the college.
Upon his first visit to the school one late August day, the Today Show's Al Roker took one look at Middle Path and simply burst into tears, immediately declaring Kenyon a "national weather landmark". When he then broke into Ascension Hall and demanded that classes be cancelled for the day, he was promptly detained by campus security.
