Eli: Hey, Vic. Uh, I just wanted to check in. It feels like we never hear from you any more unless you need to take some kind of readings. Uh, speaking of, I got the package you sent me, but I have no idea what you'd like me to do with it and I don't think I'm going to like it. I, uh, know that I said I'd hand-write you a letter, like, old-fashioned style, but it's really hard. Define "non-cutesy stationery". I mean, they all have, like, purple flowers on them or whatever. I did find one set that said, "It's a boy," but, uh, the helpful clerk informed me that that's for people who had a baby, a baby boy.

I started to see your dad, like, once or twice a week. I just gave him this 1,800-piece puzzle. It's all clouds and sky, right? Okay, he is going insane. He misses you. A lot. You should really call more. Mom's birthday's coming up next week and I think it would really mean a lot if you called them and let them know that you think about her still. We were talking the other night about how she would only let us watch nature shows on TV and we tried to convince her that Yogi Bear should count because bears a-love a-picnic baskets. That is a proven fact.

Eli: Yeah?

Rory: Hey. You busy?

Eli: I didn't hear you come in.

Rory: Who are you talking to?

Eli: No- uh, just making a- messing around.

Rory: Okay.

Eli: Weird, right? I mean, can you sense the- I don't know- tension through the Internet? I think she's still mad at me because, uh, I didn't want to go out with her friends the other night, but, like, I really don't care for the club scene or, really, them, especially this one girl, Juliana, who, like, spells her name all Italian, with, like, two G's and, like, the a-e, like, together, where it took me, like, six times to pronounce it and I don't think she ever forgave me - uh, there's, like, a out-of-battery sign coming up, uh, so I guess I should wrap this up, but I'm really enjoying the show so far. It's coming together nicely. So, uh, message me sometime this week and call your dad.
