Hello and welcome to This Month at Uplift for January 2018. The first episode for 2018, obviously. But first off, I wanna thank each and every one of you for your continued support throughout 2017, continuing into 2018, and this episode will be brought to you in three parts.
Part 1: Project for Awesome. In case you haven't heard, Uplift was one of the charities selected to receive a grant from the Project for Awesome. I am incredibly humbled by all of the outreach and, oh, goodness, even if you just watched or shared or voted, we can't thank you enough for all of your support during the Project for Awesome.
Part 2: Elephant at the Con. There are two updates with the Elephant at the Con surveys. First one is from Tekko 2017, we just got done going through all the data. It's up on our Medium page. I will put a link in the description as well in the card in the upper right hand corner of this video so you can go through all the data yourself and see what we have learned from Tekko 2017. And the second update for The Elephant at the Con is that we are still collecting data for MAGFest 2017 earlier this month, so if you were an attendee at MAGFest this year, we would highly encourage you to take the survey just so we can gauge how people felt in terms of harassment or abuses that they may have felt during that convention.
Part 3: Goals and ambitions for 2018. There's not a lot I can say that is not already said in a fantastic blog post on our Medium page. But once again, I will put a link to that in the description and I will pop it into the iCard on the upper right hand corner of the page. I would highly, highly, highly encourage all of you to give it a good read. It's a fantastic post, goes over all the stuff that has gone on in 2017 with #metoo and Time's Up and we are really just going to capitalize on those movements in order to make good change in 2018 and beyond, and once again, I'd like to thank each and every one of you for your continued support of Uplift and we are thrilled to show what we have planned for you in 2018. Thanks a lot for watching, bye.
