Lydia: Hi everyone! So there's someone who wants to say hi to you. (Wickham enters frame) Weirdly, a lot of you guys guessed I was gonna be hanging out with Wicks and you seemed totally judgy about it, but you need to chill because I can hang out with whoever I want, whenever I want.
Wickham: Nah, they were probably just looking out for you. Lizzie and Darcy said some pretty awful things about me, so I'm sure they didn't want you getting mixed up with bad company. I know you heard Darcy's story.
Lydia: Well, Lizzie's version of Darcy's story, and I don't find either of them to be particularly great judges of character.
Wickham: Actually, they were both telling the truth. I did spend all the money Darcy gave me on school in less than a year.
Lydia: Oh.
Wickham: I wanted to impress all my college buddies. I was---(chuckles) I was young and stupid and I messed up. But I--- I pulled myself back together, but by then my grades had slipped and I spent all my money on dumb stuff that I thought would make me fit in and Darcy didn't want to help. His family was the closest thing I'd had to one of my own, back when I thought that that actually meant something. I really messed up, but he couldn't see past it. He wouldn't forgive me, and I--- I understand and I get it, I really do, but I didn't just lose school, you know? I guess it's just easier to be mad at him and hate him for stuff that doesn't matter than to think about the rest of it, but sometimes losing people leads you to find new ones and that is not so bad.
Lydia: I can't believe Lizzie took his side without even talking to you again. Oh, wait! Yes, I can.
Wickham: Your sister can be unnecessarily judgmental sometimes, it's just who she is. She and Darcy have that in common.
Lydia: That's for sure.
Wickham: Doesn't mean either of them are right though. Neither of us were lying, we just saw things from two completely different points of view. Only Darcy doesn't care to understand mine.
Lydia: Well, I do, and so do my viewers. My perf, amazing, sexy viewers who always pick the right side. Obvs! You're watching me and my Wicks. We're better than Lizzie and Darce-face.
Wickham: Mmm, I would have to agree with you.
Lydia: Never change, guys.
