Lily Gladstone: Normally, diving into the comment section doesn't make you feel as good as I'm feeling right now. Amanda Montell: Wow, this has restored some of my faith in humanity today. Hank
Green: We've been at it. Hi, I'm Hank Green. I am the co-founder of Crash Course. Now I can sit here and tell you why I think Crash Course is great, but the reason that we are doing what we're doing because of you. Community contributions and educational impact is why we are still here today.
Some of the Crash Course hosts, including me, are going to read comments straight from the students, educators, parents, and lifelong learners who use Crash Course. Curly Velasquez: "The world is kind of in shambles right now and I feel like the outlook of education, at least here in the US, is not great. There's very little I can do about it on my own, but I can support organisations like Crash Course."
Sage: "Crash Course is a model of high quality, publicly available, community-supported education that helps students around the world." Lily Gladstone: "I appreciate Crash Course providing so much completely free content." Hank
Green: "I assigned Crash Course with middle and high school independent study students in the public school district I worked in prior to 2013. I have continued to recommend Crash Course to family members and neighbours." 2013?! We've been at it. Amanda Montell: "Crash Course is a good thing. It's a positive source of information, responsibly sourced and offered with the motive of making it easier for people to learn." Clint
Smith: "Like thousands of other people, Crash Course helped me in school. I've been wanting to support for so many years. I'm finally in a place where I can give a small bit back."
Amanda Montell: "—to be part of the making and maintaining of this good thing."
Lily Gladstone: Crash Course is such a valuable, I want to say tool, but it's more than that. It's a community. It's a community of those of us who make it. And it's you.
Hank Green: You could support trustworthy, accessible education by buying the Crash Course Coin, only available until May 29th at CrashCourseCoin.com.
