TRUTH OR FAIL: SHARKWEEK!
Truth and it is indeed an ugly truth. Four to ten people are killed by sharks each year and more than 100 million sharks are killed by man each year. As a comparison, jellyfish kill about twenty to forty people every year and I don't see the Discovery Channel having a jellyfish week. So I should be more afraid of jellyfish than sharks which is, uh, something that's just not gonna happen. Sharks are killed for a variety of reasons, everything from fertilizer to food to fun to just by accident when people are trying to catch other fish in nets. And because sharks, like humans, are an apex predator, hits to their numbers have huge effects rippling throughout their ecosystems. So it is important that we protect these beautiful, majestic, extremely scary and vicious looking creatures and that's something that I honestly believe.

And now you know more about sharks! Please now head to youtube.com/truthorfail and tell us how you did in the comments. And while you're there, if you haven't already, subscribe and we'll see you next week when you can test your mental might at Truth or Fail.
