Fail! The sharks largest organ is almost always the liver which accounts for up to 25% of its body weight. The liver in sharks serves the same purpose as the air bladders in bony fish. It secretes this special type of oil that actually keeps the shark from sinking too fast. Although even with those massive livers, sharks are almost all heavier than water which is why they always have to be swimming to keep themselves from sinking.
