Hello and welcome to another edition of Truth or Fail where here in the United States we are closing in on the all important presidential elections which takes place every four years on the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November. That's really how it works. It's a very exciting time and we can only hope that, unlike 2000, it doesn't take over a month to figure out who actually won. That, of course, was the year in which the election came down to my home state of Florida. And on that night I said that I would drink a fifth of vodka one way or another either in celebration or in sadness and I didn't even get to drink it! It came down to 537 votes out of more than 5.9 million cast so don't ever think that it doesn't matter. It does.

But lets talk about some happier things like this weeks edition of your favorite internet game show Truth or Fail in which we give you two facts. One is true and one is false and you have to click on the true one or you fail! Today we will be giving you facts about elections in the US and around the world. Your ballot is a simple one: truth or fail. Good luck.

Round number one: So close.

Fact number one: The most people ever to vote in a national or state-wide election where the outcome was a tie was 38,894. It happened in one of Quebec's provincial electoral districts during the 1994 election of Quebec's national assembly.

Or

Fact number two: The most people to ever vote in a national or state-wide election in which the outcome was decided by a single vote was 99,452. It happened in Rhode Island's gubernatorial election all the way back in 1904 and it took three months to declare a winner.
