Hello and welcome to another edition of "Truth or Fail," where today's trivia lesson is bound to make you hungry.  That's right, we're talking about PIZZA, my brother's favorite food.

Today, I will dispense an array of facts and figures about the history of this glorious combination of bread and cheese and the hundreds of ingredients you can add from there.

It's your job to figure out which bits of information are true and which ones I am lying about.

So grab a slice or three, and let's play.

Round #1: History --
Fact #1: Humans have been putting toppings on bread for thousands of years, and while Italy is generally considered the country of origin for pizza, it was actually the Greeks who were the first to introduce tomato sauce to the mix, doing so in about 400 BC.

Or Fact #2: Cheese didn't become a popular part of the pizza equation until 1889, and it only did then because of Neopolitan pizza-maker Rafael Esposito won a contest to honor the Italian queen, creating a pizza that was the color of the Italian flag with tomato, basil, and mozzarella.
