Emma : Hey, everyone! As you probably guessed, the super-expensive and crazy elaborate Weston-Taylor wedding is back on! Go ahead and applaud, I can wait! You may be wondering what dear Mr. Knightley thinks about all this. Well, let's find out, shall we? (Calls Alex)
Alex: Emma?
Emma: Alex, could you come in here a minute? It's important.
Alex: What's up?
Emma: You'll find out when you get here.
Alex: And, what if I'm busy?
Emma: Fine. Suit yourself. (Mouths) Three. Two. One.
(Alex comes in)
Alex: OK. What is it?
(Emma gives the camera a BIG mischievous grin)
(Intro music)
Alex: Really. What's going on?
Emma: I know you're really busy, but I also know how much you hate loose ends. And...
Alex: And...?
Emma: And I figured you'd really wanna tie up the one loose end here.
Alex: Which one would that be?
Emma: The one in this room? Perhaps some praise? About a certain wedding... regarding a certain super-important client.
Alex: Ah! I see...
Emma: Whenever you want to tie this up, you let me know. I can be very patient.
Alex: You're not gonna let this go, are you?
Emma: I don't know what you mean.
Alex: (laughs) Congratulations on saving Annie and Ryan's wedding.
Emma: Why, thank you, Mr Knightley! I know you had your doubts... (She begins to prompt him)
Alex: I had my doubts... but I was... sad? Wrong! And you... you, Emma Woodhouse, were strong? Right. And... you have really shiny hair and great teeth?
Emma: Close enough. OK, you can go now.
Alex: Seriously, though. Nice job.
(Alex leaves)
Emma: So, this was fun! I am Emma Woodhouse, making the world better, one client at a time.
(Alex returns holding a package)
Emma: Alex! Did you bring me a present?
Alex: In a way, yes. But, question first, present later.
Emma: I can be patient.
Alex: As impressed as I was with your tenacious efforts to contact Frank Churchill...
Emma: Thank you.
Alex: And how Frank was able to contact dear Annie to wish her the best. With that gift, one thing always bugged me.
Emma: Yes?
Alex: Well, how did Frank decide, out of all things to give Annie for her wedding... how did he choose a handmade Italian chitarra? Does he even know what a chitarra is?
Emma: He clearly was properly informed by some very good sources.
Alex: See? That's what I thought initially, but then this just came in.
Emma: What is that?
Alex: Well, there's a card addressed to Annie Taylor from one Frank Churchill welcoming her to the family... and this Tiffany's bag.
Emma: Oh, Tiffany's! Very Emma approved!
Alex: Emma! You lied to Annie!
Emma: Hey, I couldn't sure if Frank was gonna do the right thing, so I made sure he did. And it's all the same.
Alex: Do you really think that?
Emma: Annie is going to marry Ryan and she has an amazing and thoughtful wedding gift.
Alex: But, that was from you!
Emma: Do you realize what it is you're holding? You don't just give that to anyone! Way to go, Frank Churchill!
Alex: So you think everything's just gonna be OK?
Emma: Everyone came out fine, except for me. That chitarra was supposed to be my gift. I won't get any credit for that. But I'll find her something else. (Take the Tiffany's bag from Alex)
Alex: I'm sure you will.
Emma: Hey, we do whatever it takes for our clients. We make their lives better. Annie's got enough jewelry, anyway.
Alex: So, Emma Woodhouse? What's more important to you? Being a great friend or being a great matchmaker?
Emma: Both.
Alex: I hope that stays true. (Alex leaves)
Emma: So, whose life needs to be Emma approved next? (wink)
(Closing Screen)
Alex: Emma?
