Hello this is Hank Green for Truth or Fail, and tomorrow is Valentine's Day. If you're watching this the day before Valentine's Day which I hope you are, it seems very familiar to me. I love love and happen to be in love, and so I like Valentine's Day. And though I considered making a Truth or Fail specific to my love in which I would tell you two reasons why I love my wife and you would have to pick the true one. So it would be like Fact 1! Because she has this weird fascination with Jane Austen but she still loves me more than she loves Colin Firth. Or fact 2! Because she still thinks it's really funny when I fart. And you would click on one of those which you could do right now and see the answers to that. But that's not what I'm gonna do the whole thing for this time. Moving on to the actual edition of Truth or Fail. This is actually written by the vlogger Dan Brown's brother who got in touch with me and was like, "I wrote a Valentine's Day one. Do you wanna do it?" And I was like, "Yes this looks great!" And so I'm doing it. Valentine's Day edition written by Dan Brown's brother, Adam Brown. Love is a dangerous thing, my friends. In fact it significantly affects the chemicals in your brain. So here are my first set of facts for you. Fact 1! As one falls in love, your brain releases chemicals that are similar to amphetamines. Which, if you are not falling in love, you actually have to go to a drug dealer to get. Or 2! There is actually a chemical that is only released after prolonged affection. It's called Amatocrene.
