Toughie the Rabbs' Fringed-limbed Tree Frog lived in a biosecure enclosure in Atlanta for years. The first time anyone heard his voice, he was already the last of his kind, the endling. His species is far from alone; the world is losing amphibian voices to the chytrid fungus at an alarming rate. Where did this fungus come from in the first place? And is it too late to save the frogs?
