Hello and welcome to another edition of truth or fail, the very simple YouTube game show, in which we tell you two purported facts. One is true and one is false, and you have to click on the true one, or you fail.
Today, we are revisiting that glorious decade known as the 1990s, and the television programs that we loved or hated, or loved to hate. And yes, I realize many of you weren't alive for a large chunk of that decade, but hey, some of these shows ran for a long time and if you weren't around when ER debuted in 1994 you were definitely alive when the finale aired in 2009.
So queue up the themed friends, and let's play. Round number one: Seinfeld.
Fact number one: the top rated series of the 1990s went out on top after it's 9th season in 1998, but did you know that NBC offered Jerry Seinfeld more than a hundred and ten million to come back for a tenth season, and he declined.
Or fact number two: just how influential was Seinfeld? Well after the episode in which we hear George's answering machine play the theme song from the greatest American hero, the song cracked the Billboard top 50 single's chart, despite being more than 12 years old.
