I'm John Green, the author of The Fault in Our Stars, I did take three years of French in high school, but to be honest with you, the only sentence I remember is, "Je vais à la bibliothèque." So I am fine as long as I am going to a library, but if I need to do anything else, I'm hopeless.

The Fault in Our Stars is about two teenagers, Hazel and Augustus, who meet at a support group for people with cancer; that makes it sound like a very sad book, but in fact, it's very funny, and it's adventurous, and they go to Amsterdam - you'll like it, I promise.

Well, I can't promise you'll like it, but I hope you'll like it! Time magazine said it was the best book of the year!... in America.
