We've got more people signing up for the beta test every day, which is great, but I don't know why, but I think Tom Parker is dodging my calls. I keep getting sent straight to voicemail. Here, see for yourself. Domino, call Tom Parker. [phone noise, forwarding call message] Oh, huh. That's new. Well, you can see how the call forwarding function is working. 
Ed: Hello?
Gigi: Hi, I'm Gigi Darcy, I'm looking for the mayor?
Ed: Oh, well this is his desk, but I am, alas, merely his assistant. Ed, Edward Denham.
Gigi: You don't have your own desk?
Ed: No, I do, but this one is much closer to the Wi-Fi router and Tom has a lot of meetings out of the office, so, um, you know.
Gigi: You're aware this call is being recorded and this could end up on the internet, right?
Ed: Oh, yeah! And the brave new world of Domino. Or is it big Domino is watching you? [laughs] No, no, I got it. Open the pod bay doors please, Domino.
Gigi: Wow, do you relate everything back to sci-fi pop culture references?
Ed: No, I only save it for creepy AI's that are designed to reveal the inner chrome of my life to the internet.
Gigi: Domino isn't that creepy.
Ed: It's pretty creepy. But, the mayor is all about Domino. And my aunt, Louisa Denham, who arranged for me to get this job, would never let me hear the end of it if I were to screw it up.
Gigi: Aren't you worried she'll see you say that on this video?
Ed: Oh, I'm sure she will. She hears about everything.
Gigi: Uh, that's not super diplomatic for someone who's interested in politics.
Ed: Can I tell you a secret?
Gigi: You mean can you tell me and the rest of the internet a secret?
Edward: Yeah.
Gigi: Sure.
Ed: [whispers] I'm not really interested in politics.
Gigi: Oh. Well then why did your aunt pull strings to get you this job?
Ed: You'd have to ask her that. I don't know how it is with your aunt, but with mine, it's best to just go with the flow.
Gigi: Ah, yes, I can sympathize. Hey, while you're being super candid, can I ask you something?
Ed: Shoot.
Gigi: Is your boss avoiding me?
Ed: Tom? Oh, no, no, not at all! The thing you have to realize about Tom Parker is that he is kind of a monotasker. He gets fixated on one thing and that is it. [laughs] Until the next thing, that is. 
Gigi: OK, well, when you see him, can you tell him that I need to talk to him?
Ed: No problem. Tom also said that I should help you in any way that I can, so don't hesitate to ask.
Gigi: Awesome. Thanks, Ed.
Ed: Domino, give me the blue pill.
Gigi: [laughs] Before the developers ask, I don't know if he actually configured the app to recognize "give me the blue pill" as "end call." But it would be pretty cool if he did, though, huh? Hey, maybe we should hire him. And, in case you're wondering, operation juice bar has not yet succeeded and Sanditon Scoops is still an ice cream shop. [holds up fabric] Look what I made at craft night! I want to make Lizzie one next, so could you could ask her what color she wants for me? And, that's pretty much the news for this week.
