Emma: It's official! Boxx is going to be the hottest celebrity-owned restaurant of the summer. Aside from all of it's other qualities, the view alone will have people traveling from all over. We took a tour of the layout yesterday and you can see for miles. (Sigh) Spectacular. Of course the grand opening will be at night. So I was thinking of sending Harriet to go take some promotional photos of the view after dark. She might be a little nervous after her ordeal, so I should ask someone to go with her. Perhaps a friend with a reliable car. (Sigh) Just the two of them, alone, under a canopy of stars, gazing out over the twinkling lights below. Anything could happen. Or nothing could happen! It's entirely up to them. After all, it's none of my business.

(Emma Approved Theme Song)

Harriet: Good morning Emma!

Emma: Oh, good morning to you too! How are you feeling today?

Harriet: I'm fine, really. You don't have to keep worrying about me.

Emma: Honestly?

Harriet: Well, maybe I'm a little nervous to drive at night, but, as long as there are people, or houses, or no coyotes... I'll be totally okay.

Emma: I hate that you went through all that, but I'm so glad Frank found you.

Harriet: Me too, it's lucky that he was going to see Maddy the same night I was going to see Jane.

Emma: I know right, it's like, fate.

Harriet: Well, whatever it was, I'm grateful. And I'm so sorry I had to miss a day of work, I promise I'll make up for it.

Emma: Harriet that is totally unnecessary, but now that you've mentioned it would you mind starting with these?

Harriet: Oh, these are all for Annie's baby shower, don't you want to take care of this?

Emma: I would love to, and I will as soon as I can but I am swamped with the opening.

Harriet: It'll be amazing. I can't wait.

Emma: Oh! Make sure you get a ride with one of us. Boxx is pretty far up in the hills and I am not confident your car would make it.

Harriet: The mechanic says it's fine.

Emma: I don't care, I don't want you going alone. Unless of course you think you'll be bringing a date...

Harriet: Oh... no. I don't think I'll be dating for awhile.

Emma: Why not? Still not ready?

Harriet: No, it's just... I don't think that men think of me in that way.

Emma: Is this because of you-know-who? Harriet you can't-

Harriet: No, no it's not I promise. It's just I... I think that men, real, mature, worldly, men, think of me as a little sister or something.

Emma: I see... It's none of my business but it sounds like you have someone specific in mind.

Harriet: I do actually. Not that there is anything between us, because there isn't. But it's just someone I admire and respect.

Emma: Uh huh... Lemme guess, someone smart, successful, charming, handsome, funny, and kind?

Harriet: Yes! Yes and Yes!

Emma: Maybe someone who got your attention when he did you a big favor? Even rescued you from a horrible situation.

Harriet: Oh my gosh, Emma, it was amazing, it all happened so fast. To go from being absolutely miserable to incredibly happy all in one instant? I can't stop thinking about it.

Emma: Of course you can't, that is completely natural and very romantic. Just don't confuse gratitude with love.

Harriet: Oh I'm not, I swear, it's not the only reason.

Emma: Good, I don't want you to get hurt again, so the only advice I'll give you is to be careful. Don't decide how you feel about him until you know for sure how he feels about you.

Harriet: How will I know how he feels about me?

Emma: Look for the signals! If he compliments you, or tries to spend time alone with you, let his behavior guide yours.

Harriet: Okay, I'll try. It shouldn't be too hard since I don't even think... Oh Emma, do you really believe he might think of me that way?

Emma: I don't see why not, more wonderful things have happened.

Harriet: Really?

Emma: And this time I won't interfere. We won't even say his name, in fact, this conversation never happened.

Harriet: What conversation?

Emma: Exactly.

Alex: Good morning ladies.

Emma: And good morning to you too.

Alex: Harriet, I saw your car out front, I thought it was still in the shop?

Harriet: Well the mechanic did a quick fix, but I didn't have the time or the money for a complete overhaul.

Alex: That's not acceptable.

Harriet: It's not?

Alex: No, if you're going to do something you should do it right. Here, I will email you the information for my mechanic, he will give you a complete tune-up at a fraction of the cost because he's my old friend. And, in the meantime you can ride to work, with me.

Harriet: Are you sure? That seems like a lot of trouble.

Alex: No I insist, I've missed having a carpool buddy since Jane got her own car.

Harriet: Thank you, Alex!

Emma: Thank you, Alex.

Harriet: I'll go call him right now!

Alex: She shouldn't be driving to the opening alone.

Emma: Already taken care of.

Alex: You know whatever else I might say about him, I am glad that Frank was driving by.

Emma: You see? Isn't he amazing?

Alex: Ha! Let's not go overboard.

Emma: Annie likes him.

Alex: She's his family. She's obligated.

Emma: Harriet likes him.

Alex: She likes everybody. She automatically sees the best in people.

Emma: That doesn't make her wrong.

Alex: No, it doesn't.

Emma: In fact, I think she's developed excellent taste. And I have decided to stop interfering in her personal life.

Alex: (Laughs) Seriously?

Emma: Mm-hmm, because from now on Harriet makes her own decisions.

Alex: Hm, you want to bet on that?

Emma: No! Because we're not talking about it.

Alex: Okay, have it your way.

Emma: What are you doing?

Alex: I'm just texting Annie to see if she wants to make another bet..

Emma: Okay, get out.

Alex: Hold on, just one more second.

Emma: Out!
