Ryan: This is old school.

Anthony: When this first came out, I watched it, like, a hundred and fifty times.

Ian: You did.

Philip: You're hitting me with the classics.

Shane: I'd never seen that one before.

Justine: Something bad's gonna happen.

Philip: It's a completely different experience knowing the payoff first.

Ingrid: *gasps*

Catherine: *gasps* Ohhh!

Felix: What? Oh-nooo!!! Well, she almost did, like, a flip, too, so, that's...That's pretty impressive.

Andrea: You know I hate those kinds of videos that you never really get to see if they're okay.

Hank: Some people think it's funny when children hurt themselves...Like you, for example.

Little girl: (to dog) Go! Bwahh!

Ian: My favorite video. In the world.

Andrea: Ohhhh...baby...

Justine: (laughs) She just face-plants (laughs)

Anthony: Remember, you said that you wanted people to react to that!

Ian: Yes!

Anthony: Yeah...

Ian: Yes!!!

Ingrid: Panda!!! Oh my gosh, panda!!! I love pandas. Oh, and it's the little panda-(baby panda sneezes)-Oh! Oh, it's so cute!

Anthony: This is one of the most, like, classic videos on the Internet.

Shane: I've never seen these!

Catherine: *sneeze sound*

Felix: That is adorable.

Andrea: What was that?

Benny: Had you not seen that before?

Andrea: I've never seen that.

Hank: I've watched "Sneezing Panda"...probably, in my life, more than a hundred times.

Women: *arguing*

Anthony: I haven't seen this one.

Ian: I've seen this one.

Woman: *punches other woman*

Philip: Ahhh...Jesus!

Felix: *laughs* Why would she do that?!

Andrea: *laughs* Well, that escalated.

Catherine: *gasps*

Ryan: She's just not even in pain. She's in awe. She's like-...Did that just happen?

Anthony: Aah, I love this video!

Justine: Oh, I've seen this one!

Ryan: No way...

Guy in hot tub: Oh, sh**!

Ryan: *laughs*

Felix: Oh, she's gonna-NOOO!!!

Ingrid: Eww! Oh my-wait, is that real?

Hank: I mean, you can tell. That's effects.

Ian: I like that he says "Oh, sh**!" It's like, yes, that is.

Shane: She gave birth. Water birth. It's healthy. That's what Katie Holmes did.

Justine: These are some of, like, my favorite videos I think I've ever seen.

Ryan: That's the definition of YouTube.

*music*

Benny: What did all these videos have in common?

Ian: They're all...OLD!

Felix: They were short and funny.

Ryan: Short, quick clips that are the definition of YouTube in '05-'06.

Shane: They all made me hard. *laughs*

Benny: And why do videos that are so short sometimes go the most viral?

Felix: People have short attention spans. *laughs*

Shane: Because people have no attention span, so they see the video and they see the time is like two seconds, and they're like "Oh, okay. I can work that in." If they see a video that's two minutes, it's like "Oohh, it's too much work. Just shit in the tub and get out."

Ingrid: Who has time to sit and watch like a super long video?

Andrea: I like things to be quick. *snaps" You know? Well, not everything. *laughter* I like, I like things to be quick though, video-wise.

Phil: I think it's probably just the easiest to share. You don't have to be involved at all.

Ryan: You replay it over and over, and that's why it generates so many views.

Hank: I think there's brain chemistry. I think that there's a release of hormones that happens when you see someone get injured or something exceptionally cute...

Catherine: There's something endearing about it in that some really great things can come from something so short and so simple that we all can laugh and enjoy and watch it over and over and over again.

Benny: So let's talk about that- that animal that did that dramatic turn. What kind of animal is that?

Phil: Uhhh oh *bleep* me.

Ingrid: Hamster?

*ahhh*

Catherine: Is it a chipmunk?

*ahhh*

Felix: A squirrel?

*ahhh*

Andrea: Gopher

*ahhh*

Andrea: Groundhog

*ahhh* *ahhh*

Andrea: Hamster *laughs*

Shane: Well I know they called it dramatic chipmunk, but it was really a prairie dog?

*ding*

Anthony: Panda

Ian: What? No. Prairie dog.

Anthony: Oh, I thought you were talking about the panda doing a dramatic turn at the... *laughter*

Benny: No *laughs*

Anthony: I thought it was a panda!

Benny: Can you recreate it for us?

Ingrid: kay

*dramatic music* for each person

Ingrid: *singing* duh duh *laughs*

*dramatic music*

Shane: Are you hard? *laughs*

Benny: And the break-dancer...

Justine: Well, he was break-dancing and just kicked some little kid in the face.

Phil: Little girl got punted...which is what happens when you get into a break-dance fight. That's what happens.

Hank: It lets you know how much power and force goes into a break-dance move.

Ian: She kind of deserves it for interrupting the arts.

Ryan: I kinda knew that was gonna happen because, you know, all those dancing clips either a kid gets hit or something gets broken.

Benny: And what happened in the one where the girl fell down?

Andrea: Yeah, that was horrible.

Justine: She face planted. It was just straight up dog- taking it for a walk. Well, guess what? Dog took her for a walk, if you know what I mean! *claps*

Ian: It's one of my favorite videos because *laughs* no matter how many times I hit the replay button, like, I just get so much satisfaction out of it.

Anthony: There's so many questions too. You're like, "Did she get hurt? Were her parents there? Who was filming?"

Ian: "What was she throwing?"

Anthony: *laughs*

Benny: And why do we all laugh at this girl?

Ryan: Because it's shocking!

Hank: I think it's partly because she is the instrument of her own demise.

Phil: It's a shauden-fraude-blah-blah-blah German word. Right? Shaudenfrafraden Shaudenfrada

Catherine: I think it's the noise. "Gooo!" and then "Blaaa!"

Anthony: Blaaa

Ian: No, it's not "baaaa" it's "buehhhhhh!"

Anthony: Oh, sorry.

Ian: Yeah, it's a little bit..Yeah, it's important.

Benny: And what happened with those pandas?

Ingrid: *gasps* The panda! I love pandas!

Felix: Jump, scare, sneeze. They're scary.

Shane: The little one sneezed, then the big one moved. And it got a hundred million views.

Phil: That's like the classic one I feel like has been parodied the most out of any video ever.

Hank: It's cute, but on like, several levels. First, there's a baby panda sneezing. Second, mom has apparently never heard a baby panda sneeze, just like we haven't!

Benny: And what about the woman that punched the other woman in the face?

Shane: I think that other woman was being a bitch. And I think that old lady had to show her the business.

Andrea: I don't even think that girl knew...why she got punched. It seemed like it just came out of nowhere.

Anthony: I think the funniest part is that you don't know she punched her.

Ian: Yeah

Anthony: I keep replaying it, like, trying to read it in their face.

Phil: Most of your life, right, it's just "blah blah blah" "blah blah blah" "oh oh" and then like normal society holds people back. But then when you get hit in the face for the first time, you're like "So that's what that feels like!" *Bleep* *laughs*

Benny: Aaand the Jacuzzi. What happened there?

Justine: She pooped herself *laughs*

Anthony: The girl had Hershey squirts.

Phil: That poor girl is ruined forever. Like at that point, you just move. Except now the internet exists and it doesn't matter where she goes.

Andrea: I think that one's fake.

Shane: It's fake. I've pooped in a lot of Jacuzzis, and it doesn't ooze out like that, like a cartoon.

Hank: I don't who or why they would have done that? But I think it's fake.

Ryan: I've never pooped in a pool, so I wouldn't know. I might want to try that..just to see- just to check the legitimacy of the video. *laughs*

Benny: What would you have done if you were in the Jacuzzi?

Justine: Well I would have definitely... I would have probably been the one pooping myself, so that would've been me.

Catherine: Get the *bleep* out.

Phil: You run or you vomit.

Ingrid: I would be running and then I'd be like scrubbing myself down with antibacterial soap.

Felix: I would've done a scuba, you know, YOLO, right?

Ian: I might dunk one of my friends in the water just before jumping out.

Hank: People who are watching out there, if you having cramps, get out of th-the hot tub. Do not be ashamed of your digestive needs.

Benny: People end up remixing their own versions of viral videos and even some from the ones we showed you. Why is that something that people do?

Shane: Because people are not creative, and they're like, "Oh, I'll just rip off this other thing."

Catherine: They wanna ride on the coattails, man, you know? They they want to take something that has gotten popular, and they're going "I can make it better!"

Phil: I think it's just inserting yourself into something that's already awesome.

Ryan: Everything in general in terms of entertainment isn't original. I think everything's a copy of something somewhere because we had to learn it somewhere, you know? So umm in terms of remixing, I think it's just another art.

Hank: People love to create. The internet is just it fosters that remix culture which is one of the coolest things about the internet.

Benny: So what is the perfect short viral video?

Justine: Well, if I had one I would have made it already.

Ingrid: I'm not good..at this! I don't do the viral video thing! I just watch them and enjoy them.

Hank: If I had an idea for a perfect ten second video, I wouldn't tell you!

Ryan: Myself with Ray and Jenna and Smosh all in a Jacuzzi and we all just let loose. Watch uhhh what is it? The five of us poo. I'm pretty sure that would go a little viral. I mean, I'd share it because I'm in it. *laughs*
