Whether you are a convention organizer struggling to navigate planning virtual or covid-safe IRL conventions, whether you are a mod for a discord or Twitch Stream, or whether you’re a creator with a growing audience, we want to help you create safer online communities.

[0:24] Skye Walker, Operations Director: Uplift is a nonprofit dedicated to combating sexual violence in online fandom communities, through education and advocacy. We work to ensure that these flourishing communities are safe for the millions of people who connect through them.

[0:38] Christine: This past year we created several resources designed to help you including: our Guide to Creating Safer Virtual Conventions, Early Signs of Emotional Abuse, and our 5 Part Series on Creator/Fan Relationships. And we revamped our website to make it easier than ever to find collections of resources on topics like: Consent, Navigating Online Communites, Convention Resources, and our resources for parents.

[1:03] Skye: We’re also excited to launch our new online course for community leaders, completely free. Learn how to create a code of conduct, set up a team of moderators, and respond to common challenges within online communities.

[1:16] Christine: We are  passionate about empowering community leaders to transform their communities and we're excited to help you take action through this course.
