Hey there, I am Matthew Gaydos and welcome to The Warehouse, the show where we share the DFTBA warehouse with you.

Now this is a very special episode of The Warehouse as you might be able to tell from the title down below that you see there. This is the series finale of The Warehouse. For reasons that I will explain at the end of this episode, this show, The Warehouse, is coming to an end. This is the very last episode of The Warehouse. That's a weird thing to say.

The idea for this show was birthed almost two years ago now and it's been a very, very fun ride for me. It's been very fun getting to know you guys and interacting with you and seeing your NerdfArt and just talking to you guys in the comments and answering your questions and just... it's all been great, guys, and I just, I, I, I...

And I'll talk about all of that in a moment. But for now it is time for the New Merch News. So obviously it's been a little while since I've seen you guys and there's been a lot of new merch in that time so I don't have time to talk about every little single piece of things but I do have some big things to talk to you guys about.

First up, Hannah Hart has a ton of new merch with us up on the website and you should go check it out because there is a lot and I just don't have time to talk about all of it here today but there's a ton of stuff. I promise you, you will find something you love there, go look, the link is in the flap. We also have these two brand new Quadragocon shirts celebrating John and Hank's competition that they had on Friday's Vlogbrothers video and yeah. Those are a very limited item so go check those out.

And then there's this really cool thing that's happening later this week guys. There's this new merch item coming out that's in all of those boxes back there and I can't tell you what it is. I can't, I'm not allowed but I will tell you that it's very cool and that you should be checking the DFTBA website later this week to see what's in those boxes. And that's probably the most I can tell you about that without getting in trouble. So we're gonna move on from that.

And like I said, there is a ton of other new merch up on the website right now that you should go check out on dftba.com but for now we've only got so much time so we've got to talk about something very important and that's NerdfArt.

Today's NerdfArt segment is going to be a very selfish one because I want to talk about you guys and how amazing you've been to me and to this show and to Fort Awesome and to anyone that's been on this show and you guys are great. And so today I just wanted to feature some NerdfArt of Fort Awesome and me and Carl the clown and different things from this show.

And so, I mean, really, this show is a commercial. A lot of you have figured that out but this show is a commercial but the part that makes it more special than that obviously is the connection here and that we have fun and we do skits and it's just, it's a fun time and I very much enjoyed hosting this for almost two years but now it's time to go away.

And I will tell you that it is not because I don't enjoy The Warehouse videos, it is not because I don't like doing these for you guys. It is simply because I'm not gonna be working here anymore. That's right, in a week I will no longer be working in the DFTBA warehouse and that's a weird thing to say because I've been working here for almost two years and I absolutely love this job and this place and this company and that's why it's a good thing because I'm not quitting or leaving or getting fired, I got a new job with the things and doing the videos.

Starting next week I am going to be taking over as the new director/editor/video maker guy over on the Sexplanations video channel with host Lindsey Doe and I am also going to be a part of the Animal Wonders family, I am going to be editing videos for them as well. So don't worry, I will definitely still be around here on the YouTubes just on some other channels. I'll be on the Sexplanations channel, I'm helping out with the Animal Wonders channel, I'll be on my own channel. So I'm not going anywhere, I'll still gonna be on your little internet screens.

But I do want to thank you guys again for taking this channel in and embracing it and making it part of the whole Nerdfighteria thing and you seem to like it and I really like doing it and I just thank you. And to wrap up this little thank you section I do want to thank Alan Lastufka and Hank Green for not only hiring me into this company but also letting me do these Warehouse videos because these were one of the first things we ever talked about when I first got hired was "Hey, wouldn't it be cool to make some video content from the warehouse and talk about merch and stuff" and we did it. We did it! Yay!

And it became bigger and better and more surprising than I ever thought it would be as a channel and we had Hank and John and we had Carl the clown and we had Stefan and Fort Awesome became a thing. A show about merch had merch. That's a weird thing. So also thanks to all of you who own Fort Awesome shirts, there's not a ton of you out there so rep them with pride because Fort Awesome's going away. It takes up a lot of space in this warehouse and so I need to disassemble Fort Awesome actually when I leave here. But I am taking the sign and I am taking the flag which has turned around. (Turns around the flag). Dodododododododo. And I'm gonna put those up in my new office or my apartment or something because I can't leave those behind.

And I also need to thank Mr Tim Thomas for being the box employee, he is not here at the moment, obviously he's not in there. But he played Mr Cory T. Gated, the T stood for Tim. It was a little, like a hint to say "Hey, the guy inside of there's name is Tim and we're not going to tell you that." But I decided to tell you now because it's the end of the show. But yeah. Thanks to Tim for letting me put you inside of a box and blindly lead you around the warehouse.
