Do you guys know who this is yet?
Cause this is the best story of the Trump years so far. This is Christopher Wray. He was Trump’s appointed head of the FBI. He continued to be the head of the FBI through the Biden years which is often the case. These are civil servants they’re not political appointees and so they just come in and stay for a while, but he also prosecuted a bunch of January 6th cases, so Trump really wanted him to go away. He was gonna fire him, so he decided to resign. So, they needed a new interim director of the FBI, a guy who would be in charge for a little while until they appointed the guy that they wanted to be in charge. Everybody agrees this is the guy they wanted to have be the interim director of the FBI but when they updated the website, they did it wrong and the put hum as the deputy director and they put this guy as the director. So, this guy now accidentally. and they were like that’s too embarrassing to admit that we made that mistake so were just gonna keep this guy as the director. So now this man is the accidental interim director of the FBI. Hes not like unqualified but it’s not the guy that they meant to have be in charge and they figured it wouldn’t matter that much because it’s not gonna be that long until they have their own guy that they put in charge. His name is Brian Driscoll, he is called Drizz by people at the FBI. He looks like a guy who's be called Drizz because he probably plays the trombone. I desperately want to see him in a cowboy hat
but the thing that Donald Trump does now is that he starts wanting to like purge everybody who worked on the January 6th cases at all. Not only does he pardon a bunch of these people who some of them just, you know, went and trespassed but some of them like tased police officers. Not only does he wanna pardon those people, but he also wants to purge the FBI of anybody who worked on any of these cases and this guy is like, nope, nobody do that. Nobody tell anybody at the government what you did or whether you worked on those cases. You were doing your jobs. You were doing what we told you to do and the fact that you might be fired for that is ridiculous. So now, this guy is suddenly beloved internally at the FBI even though he wasn’t supposed to be in charge for anything. Sometimes I cannot believe the magnitude of what we are up against. like immediate consutitional crisis upon this guy getting into office but other time I’m like boy, is this what you’re up against? cause I feel like we can handle that!
