Fail! Once upon a time monarchs probably did wash the feet of the poor on Maundy Thursday but nowadays the Queen shows off her humbleness in less humble ways by giving away money to people. Particularly she gives away an amount of money equal to her age in pence. So even if the Queen of England gets, like, 100 years old people are still walking away from this experience with a quid. Lame! Actually, the good news is the money is specially minted and they become collectors items so you might actually get some value out of that 84 pence.
