Good morning, John.

I'm in a hotel in Cleveland! Hotel art, always very interesting to me.

Right now, we're really chilling with the kind of  Cleveland vibe. They're really leaning in. I got here late last night, slept in the hotel  at the airport.

Now I'm gonna drive to Youngstown. Before I leave this room, I'm going to launch  the Book of Good Times Kickstarter, which I'm very nervous about. It's weird.

Never done  anything like this before.  Officially time to do it.  Everyone's expecting me to do it right now, so I have to do it right now. Video, it's live.  It is now live. Oh!

Wow, that was cool. I think it's going well, I was nervous about this.  It's weird. It's a weird project.

People are like, “But who wrote the book?” The book wrote itself,  you guys. The book also  wrote the Kickstarter page. I've been watching the comments for too long, and I need to get into a car and go to Youngstown.  The guy at the rental car place was like, “I'm gonna set you up with a good one.  It's a Buick”, he says.

And I say, “They still make Buicks?” I keep thinking about this joke I made on TikTok, like, six months ago where I, it was like, Eminem  orders a coffee from the barista, and he says, “Could I get a little bit of cinnamon in it?”  But it didn't do that well, and I think part of it is that it didn't sound that Eminem-y, like it  should have been, like, “Gonna get a little bit of cinnamon in it”. But then,   like, by that, I couldn't do it again, you know? And I think about that.  It's better than some of the  other things I think about.

I'm not sure this is the  best decision I've ever made.  Amazing choice, this is very good. John, I just discovered that the shipping is wrong  on the Book of Good Times stuff. So I'm now in the bathroom at the venue.

Gotta get on my  phone's Wi-Fi and fix that  problem as fast as I can  and hope that no one notices. Say, just take a long time in the bathroom. Okay.

Okay, we did it.  I don't know why there's  no lights in this bathroom,  but I couldn't figure out how to turn the lights on either. Then I do an interview with a student journalist, and then I have, like, a conversation  with 40 people. Like, I'm in one chair, and 40 people are facing me, and I'm asking  them questions, and they're asking me questions, it’s all students, like honor students.  And it was great, but it's always, like, the scariest thing for me.

I'm much more  comfortable in front of a room of a thousand people than I am in front of a room of 40.  Because like, they're all  people, they're individuals.  You get a sense for them. Then another thing I have no footage of is, like, there was a dinner  where we sat down and I talked to people  and I actually ate no food at all. I did not have time for that.

And then I went to the green room  to be by myself for a moment, just to compose myself. Alright, good. Got all the lights.

That one's a little non-standard. What do I do backstage?  I edit my book, because otherwise I get too freaked out. And I'm pretty sure I fixed the  shipping thing with The Book of Good Times.

And hey, if you got the book with the wrong  shipping, I have no idea what we're gonna do about that. I honestly have no idea what to do.  Well, I was just gonna say that I'm done giving my talk. This is gonna–I might make a video  about this.

I'm, no, you  don't need to be on screen.  I'm done with the talk now. These people are really great. Except for a couple of them.  They know who they are.

And Chris–Chris! All right, you guys can say hi. *applause*

Hank: And now we leave.

Sarah: I know, I guess that’s it!

Hank: This is Sarah, she moderated for me.

Sarah: Hey everybody!

Hank: This is Thurston, he was helping. Thurston: Hello!

Hank: I think he's a bigger John  Green fan than a Hank Green fan,   but… Listening to Crash  Course while we were waiting. Thurston: Absolutely! And then I went to a very secret Pizzamas pizza party with some Nerdfighters. And they are  either people who I invited or people who just happened to go to the same pizza restaurant,  and it was great!

Hank: Hi John. Various Nerdfighters: Hi John! And now I'm in an alley... I  guess it's just a street.  And now I'm gonna drive back to Cleveland.

And now I have to p–  And now I'm back in my hotel room and I'm very sleepy and I'm going to go to bed.  The event was super good. I talked to so many cool people and they're just lovely. Lots of  shirts of Pizzamases past.

I was the only one representing this year, ‘cause that's a special  privilege, I guess. But only during this Pizzamas can you get this Pizzamas' shirts. So go to  pizzamas.com or download the Pizzamas app to get them.

Also The Book of Good Times,  there's a link to that in the description.  I'm pretty sure that all the hardcovers by Christmas have sold out, but the rest  of them are still available. John, I'll see you tomorrow. *Femininomenon by Chappell Roan plays*
