Jessi: Hello, and welcome back to animal wonders, I'm Jessi, and today I have something really exciting planned. We're going to play a game, and it's going to be a guess the animal game by sound. But to do that, I need some contestants, so, come on in guys!

Jessi:This is Taylor, you know her, she has been working at animal wonders for five years now, and this is Paul.
Paul: Hello!
Jessi: Paul just started working here, it's been like, just over two months?
Paul: Yeah, just about that
Jessi: So, I thought it'd be exciting, to kind of, quiz you a bit, but also, quiz Taylor. So I will bring in some animals, or, an animal and get them to make a noise, and then you have to gues-you'll be blindfolded, and, you're going to have to guess what the animal is. You'll write it down on a little card, and uh, hopefully you get them all right, that'd be bad if you didn't
Taylor: I know. I've heard them all enough it should go okay
Jessi: And I'm hoping that you'll be able to get them
Paul: I feel like I can get some for sure
Jessi: Okay, okay
Paul: like to be an underdog so this will be
Jessi: Um, what's it like, you've been working for like, two and a half months so, what's one of the hardest things that you've had to learn here?
Paul: Definitely the whole, the who schedule in feeding, um, that took quite a while for me to actually get down. Um, when I first started it to the entire just to do all the morning feeds and then the pm feeds would just happen right after I'd be like, no time to relax I just gotta finish all that. So that was the hardest for sure in the beginning, um, and then after that was probably bonding with animals and gaining their trust because that took a while as well. They're slowly, slowly warming up to me which is really good and reassuring but yeah those two were the hardest for sure.
Jessi: Yeah! Do you see, now that they've kind of gotten used to you, and, and, know that you're going to be coming back day after day, have you seen a change in their behaviour?
Paul: Yeah definitely, definitely. Um, some, like the birds, the parrots um and, they're actually talking to me now and making noises. At first I was like oh my god I didn't even know you could talk, did't know you could say little quirks and stuff, so, it's nice. It's like, finally, you know, like, I'm welcomed into the family.
