Jonny: Truth! The LCROSS mission which launched earlier this year plans to fire a missile directly at the surface of the Moon, blasting a hole in its crust. The hope is that scientists will be able to analyze the resulting dust plume to see what's in it. Specifically, the scientists are hoping that we might be able to find water up there.
