In this episode of Truth or Fail, Hank tests your knowledge of some strange October holidays.
Hello and welcome to another edition of Truth or Fail. In case you missed it, and unless you work for the bank or the post office, it’s very possible that you did, we Americans celebrated Columbus Day, also known as the least important and silliest federal holiday. But hey, no school, and in a few weeks it’ll be Halloween. Anyhow, October is filled with important and not so important holidays some of which you may never have heard of.
Round number one: Who’s the boss?
National Boss’s day is October 16th. That’s not the purported fact, that’s the actual fact. National Boss’s day was first celebrated in 1958. Administrative Professionals’ Day, also known as Secretaries Day, did not come for more than 20 years after we started celebrating National Boss’s Day, sorry, I kicked the tripod just then.
OR
Fact number two: Speaking of boss’s, mother-in-law day is the fourth Sunday in October and it is one of the very few holidays that Hallmark does not make a card for.
