My name is Rachel Wiley.

I'm a poet from Columbus, Ohio and I'll be reading Jan Beatty's, Red Sugar. I chose this poem in particular because it really captures Beatty's working class strong woman persona.

While also talking about her vulnerabilities and that's something that I really personally connect to in all of her work, but this poem in particular.
