Gigi: Hi, William. Sorry about the mess. The fourth of July mania is over and I sat down to work on my personal statement and realized I needed to make my weekly update. Who knew that writing 800 words about my past and my future would be so difficult? Between this and Domino, I've watched way too much streaming video lately. Not that I'm procrastinating, just reflecting. Oh and just as I predicted last week, when someone without my expertise gets involved in other people's lives, we get fallout. Domino play Ed 19. 

Ed: Clara, just, uh, trying you again. I know you're probably busy with the milk delivery but there's a Lucas Spielberg double feature this weekend and I really think you should see THX 1138. Oh, um, Domino answer call.

Beau: Hello.

Ed: Hey, uh, uh what're you, uh, Domino end Clara-uh, call with Clara.

Beau: Sorry to interrupt, man. 

Ed: No, uh it's okay. Uh, if you're looking for the mayor, he's still down at the town council trying to convince them that Sanditon can support two spin gyms. Uh, but between you me, uh, I think my aunt is pretty skeptical.

Beau: Well I appreciate it man, but the size of the town doesn't matter, it's just not going to be big enough for the both of us. 

Ed: So we're back to beyond the thunderdome: two spin gyms enter...

Beau: Yeah, yeah. And I know what side you're on now. 

Ed: Uh, what do you mean? Uh, the mayor's office is official neutral zone to all spin gym death matches. 

Beau: Oh so I take it your fourth of July date with my sister didn't go well.

Ed: Uh, uh, that, that wasn't a date. Um, uh Tom Parker set that up and um, besides I didn't want to, uh, I mean she is hot, ha, but I mean I, uh, I, uh, hot in the way where I respect her intelligence.

Beau: Dude, non-issue. Believe me, I do not get involved in my sister's romantic life, and she very kindly returns the favor.

Ed: Oh, well that sounds refreshing.

Beau: Hey, if it wasn't a date, I don't suppose she happened to mention how many members she signed up to the new gym...

Ed: No, she did however mention her fifteen year plan for Spin Cycle.

Beau: Yeah, that sounds like her...but I don't get it: if you're not into her and the mayor isn't playing any favorites, then why would he try to set you two up? I mean I thought word around town was you and Clara were... you know...

Ed: Yeah, but the mayor doesn't exactly approve of that.

Beau: So? It's your life. I mean why would you let him force you into awkward dates with my sister?

Ed: Yeah, Griff said basically the same thing but, uh, more forcefully. 

Beau: She's not going to come complain to me about how you did her wrong, right?

Ed: I thought you didn't get involved in your sister's love life?

Beau: Oh, I don't. I have messed up a few of her exes though... Naw, I'm just messing with you man, we're cool.

Gigi: Watching that again, I think it's time I stopped reflecting and started-

Clara: Hey, Gigi!

Gigi: Hey!

Clara: Filming another update for your brother? I though I heard Ed's voice from your speakers. 

Gigi: Um, yeah. Have you talked to him recently?

Clara: Uh, he's left several messages...

Gigi: And are you going to call him back? 

Clara: Eventually. I just need a little time to prepare for that conversation. And I'd rather do it in private, if you know what I mean. Sorry, big brother, we already have enough noses in our business. 

Gigi: As I was saying, less reflecting and more doing. Only, I'm sorry William, but my personal statement is going to have to wait. There's something else I need to work on. Not Ed and Clara, I mean Sanditon's spin gym-running, head-butting siblings. There has to be a story behind that fierce a sibling rivalry and I'm going to find out what it is and fix it.
