If you're the person who's answering emails at 9 p.m. and on the weekends. now you've just created a situation in which if you ever start to stop answering emails at 9 p.m. or on a Saturday people are like "what the hell?" Like you used to be the go to guy for that. and so I think, you know, for us at TFD, like we went to a 4 day work week and every metric has been up and we're more productive. We didn't do any pay cuts or anything and a lot of it comes down to the fact that for most professional jobs you actually don't even work 40 hours in a 40 hours work week. You're on your email, you're surfing the internet, you're reading an article, you're talking to someone, like there's just no need to be putting in as much effort as we often do and I think it's very, very difficult for people to especially if they're in a professional capacity where overworking yourself if rewarded or expected to decouple themselves from the idea that the act of doing more will always manifest in better
