Hi, my name is Em Dial and I'll be reading "Meditations in an Emergency" by Cameron Awkward Rich.

I chose this poem because as we witness and experience apocalypse after apocalypse it reminds me what a dreadful and gorgeous and necessary thing it is to have hope in a world that so often feels hopeless.
