(00:22) Harriet hasn't mentioned Martin in a week. I think she has a better idea of all the possibilities that await her in the dating world. Once I land State Senator James Elton, she'll be very glad her relationship status is available. The way he wears a three-piece suit, mmph, very Emma Approved.

Knightley: Speaking of Senator Elton and his three-piece suit, any news?
Emma: Please, don't apologize for interrupting. Just come right in.
Knightley: Thank you! I will.
Emma: There should be news very soon.
Knightley: So you contacted him?
Emma: Not exactly.
Knightley: Did Harriet contact him?
Emma: Getting warmer.
Knightley: Harriet sent him a singing telegram?
Emma: Ryan tweeted this!

Emma: Powerful, right?
Knightley: Hash tag, how much did we pay Ryan to do that?
Emma: Nothing! He did it out of the goodness of his heart.
Knightley: Well, then we should just pop the champagne bottle now because that means... Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Knightley: Faith, I've got. But faith in a random tweet? Not so much.
Emma: Be patient and be converted.
Knightley: What's your Plan B?
Emma: Don't need one.
Knightley: You're sure? Of course you're sure. You're Emma Woodhouse.
Emma: Well, we could make this interesting.
Knightley: Against my better judgment, I am listening.
Emma: Senator Elton calls, and you let me set you up on a date.
Knightley: Ha! That's rich. Fine! And if he doesn't call, then you finally schedule that lunch with Madeline Bates that you keep canceling.
Emma: Hey, it's not my fault Maddie Bates can't take a hint.
Knightley: She's nice! And... persistent. Like someone I know.

Knightley: By the end of the day today, or is that too soon?
Emma: Pacific Standard Time.
Knightley: Why not?
