Emma: I wanted you to hear the good news from me first.

Alex: How bad is it?

Emma: We don't have to do those godawful consultations anymore!

Alex: No, we are not stopping those, that was the best idea I ever had, it opens up our potential business to a whole new market.

Emma: Don't you want to know why we can stop doing them?

Alex: I'm sure you're going to tell me either way.

Emma: Because I have found our next high-profile client.

Alex: James Elton.  State senator, activist, leader.  Huh.  Hey, looks good.  When's he coming in?

Emma: We haven't set up a time yet.

Alex: But he wants your services.

Emma: He will.

Alex: Have you even talked to him yet?

Emma: I'm working on it.

Alex: So he's not really our client then, is he?

Emma: He will be.  Because I am Emma Woodhouse.

Alex: So how did you find this Senator Elton?

Emma: Harriet found him.  I asked her to find me a man she admires, and she did.

Alex: Wait, a man that she admires?

Emma: Find something out there you want, take it.  It's my lesson to her.

Alex: Is the Senator for us or for Harriet?

Emma: Both.

Alex: Harriet is not your client, she is not your protege, she is your assistant, and she is fine just the way she is.

Emma: You only say that because you haven't seen what she can become.

Alex: Leave Harriet alone.

Emma: You should hash tag that.

Alex: Maybe I will.

Emma: Good.

Alex: Fine.

Emma: Great.

Alex: Always have to have the last word, don't you?

Emma: Yes.

(Emma Approved intro plays)

Harriet: You wanted to see me?

Emma: What is today's mission?

Harriet: Tracking down Senator Elton.

Emma: Right.  So what ideas do you have?

Harriet: Well, I thought we could call his office.  I have the number of his campaign headquarters.

Emma: That's one idea.  But here's something to keep in mind for when you run your own company one day.  The best way to sell a client something is to convince them it's their idea they want it in the first place.

Harriet: Uh...I don't think I understand.

Emma: Pretend that you're thinking about buying a car.

Harriet: Okay.  Can it be a red car?

Emma: It could be.  Although silver is much more of a power color.  You would look good in silver.

Harriet: Okay.  Thanks?

Emma: So when you choose a car, there are a lot of factors to consider, make, model, year, and of course, color.  So what color do you want, Harriet?

Harriet: Silver.

Emma: Why silver?

Harriet: Because it's a power color, and I would look good in it.

Emma: You're right, but you never would have thought of silver unless someone put the idea in your head.

Harriet: Oh!

Emma: Do you see how this relates to Senator Elton?

Harriet: We want him to think that it's his idea to come to you.

Emma: Exactly!

Harriet: How do we do that?

Emma: We need someone else to give him the idea.

Harriet: Someone he respects and admires?

Emma: Yes.  Now, who do I know that the Senator knows as well?  Is he on Twitter?  Listen to this, people, amazing news!  Senator Elton follows Ryan Weston on Twitter!  What are the odds, right?  It's like destiny.  Turns out they both graduated from Princeton the same year and have a slew of mutual friends.  And Senator Elton has favorited some of Ryan's tweets!  How fortuitous that the one person who connects me to my next client is the very person having the time of his life on his honeymoon all thanks to yours truly.  Seems to me that he owes this girl a favor, don't you think? Hate to bother a new bride on her honeymoon but, c'est la vie. Annie! It's Emma, I hope you're having an amazing time in Greece. I hate to interrupt you two lovebirds but I'm calling in a favor. I was hoping Ryan might send a little tweet for me? Text you the wording. ΕυχαριστÏŽ (Efkaristo)!

Harriet: Efkaristo?

Emma: It's thank you, in Greek.

Harriet: Oh! Efkaristo. Um, so do you think it worked?

Emma: We'll find out soon enough.

Harriet: Um... Won't they be occupied?

Emma: Don't worry, they're a couple on their honeymoon. They're not scuba diving, they're lying in bed eating chocolate covered strawberries and screening their calls.

Harriet: Oh, right!

Emma: Once Annie gets my message-

Harriet: Ooh, Emma it's up!

Emma: Already? That was fast!

Harriet: Look!

Emma: God bless Ryan! He's a doll! Mmph!

Harriet: So, what do we do now?

Emma: Now, we wait for the Senator's call.

Harriet: Efkaristo!
