I should share that man, the world is going to-  look the world is going to crap, i'm not saying the world isn't going to crap but you can't freak yourself out about something because somebody posted it on- 6 million likes. you know How many views that is? That's everybody. everybody saw this and was like "oh my god another thing to hate the world about"

How many species of firefly do you think there are? How many species? 2000 I thought if I popped into the comments there'd be at least somebody correcting this in the comments, but no its just people being like "fireflies will one day be seen as a myth" 

If you live on the east coast in Florida, these are the one we grew up with, they're still out there, they're doing okay. they are classified by the international union for conservation of nature, as a species of least concern. That doesn't mean that there's no concern, there is concern, there's habitat loss, there's light pollution, there's insecticide use, these guys there's things we can do for them and if we do if for them then habitats will be better for all kinds of organisms. but they're not going extinct. We are not the last generation that will see and enjoy the fireflies, there will still be fireflies everybody. we're gonna- its gonna be all right, i don't- i just don't want you to be so scared about everything I want us to be scared about the right things, ok? So lets be scared about the right things, being cheated on by a firefly, no im kidding, but they do it, like they mate, like they're monogamous per night, they like do one mating and then the next night they'll do another one
