An origami artist, a professor of mathematics, and a paper expert will have one hour to create the perfect paper airplane. Their competitors? Three VERY enthusiastic kids. Who will win?

Kids Vs. Science is a new show from Mental Floss where we assemble a team of experts to take on a simple childhood activity, and of course, put them head-to-head against a group of kids. Will the superteam of professionals be able to pool their knowledge together to make something extraordinary, or will the living balls of energy that are human children take the crown?

In this episode, the two teams will take on a childhood staple: the paper airplane. Physics, aeronautical engineering, paper crafting - there are many skills and fields of knowledge to be utilized in this simple task. Each team will be given one hour to plan, create, and test their perfect paper airplanes. They will then be judged on DISTANCE, HANG TIME, and ACCURACY. May the best team win.

EXPERTS:
Frank Ling, Taro's Origami Studio
Leif Ristroph, New York University
Andrew Foote, Paper Outlet Inc.

KIDS:
Jonah
Nairobi
Micah
