Fail! Actually Woodstock was a rather large financial disaster. The Up Against the Wall Motherfuckers, an anarchist group, cut down the fence that was keeping out the non-paying attendees and the organizers decided to embrace the free show mentality. A great deal of money was made from the movie and the albums made after the festival but the organizers never saw a penny of that. Now, here's your next set of facts.
