Emma: Okay, move it to the left. No, no no no, back to the right. Right. Oh, right there. There, that's it.

Harriet: Do you think it'll stay up?

Emma: We'll see.

Harriet: I'm so nervous. What if it doesn't work?

Emma: The things people regret in life are not the things they did, it's the things they didn't do.

Harriet: You're right. Even if it doesn't work, at least I tried.

Emma: Exactly. Just make sure you pull on this ribbon as hard as you can when the time is right.

Harriet: Thanks, Emma.

Emma: No, thank you, Harriet. If it wasn't for you, I would have been drowning in a pail of ice cream for the last month.

Harriet: It was nothing. But, I did save the Chunky Monkey just in case...

Emma: It's going to work.

(Title Sequence)

Harriet: Okay, then.. I guess I'm ready.

Emma: Great! I'll be rooting for you. He is going to love it, I cannot wait to see the look in his face. You two are going to make such a cute couple.

Harriet: Remember when you told me to stop you when you started getting carried away?

Emma: Got it. Loud and clear. [Looks at Harriet longingly]

Harriet: What?

Emma: Just, seems like only yesterday you were teetering in heels, now you're standing tall in them.

Harriet: Stop!

Emma: Sorry, I'm just so proud of you.

(Emma walks away then comes back in with camera)

Emma: I want to remember this moment.

Harriet: Go!

Emma: I'm going, I'm going.

(Emma walks out, 5 minutes later)

Martin: Hey Harriet.

Harriet: Martin! Hi, good to see you.

Martin: Good to see you, too.

Harriet:  So how are you?

Martin: Can't complain. And you?

Harriet: I'm good.

Martin: Good. So, is something wrong with your computer?

Harriet: My computer? Oh, yes, um, it's having a lot of problems, I tried everything you showed me, I even ran disk utility, but nothing worked.

Martin: OK well, let me take a look. I'll just pull some programs here.  Well your diagnostics seem to be fine. Have you had any trouble connecting to Wi-Fi?

Harriet: Wi-Fi? Uh no, uh that's been working fine.

Martin: Well everything seems to be running smoothly. It was probably just an app that was consuming a lot of energy.

Harriet: It's PowerPoint!

Martin: Oh.

Harriet: Yeah, it crashes all the time.

Martin: OK, well that's nothing, i can just re-install it for you. I'll go get the software.

Harriet: No! Wait!

Martin: Harriet is everything OK?

Harriet: Not really. I mean, I am OK, because I'm my own woman and I can fix my own computer and I don't need anyone to help me with it.

Martin: OK, would you like me to leave now?

Harriet: No! See what I'm saying is it's not as fun to fix your own computer. It's nice when there's someone to work on it with you.

Martin: I'm confused, are we still talking about computers?

Harriet: Not really. See what I'm trying to say is I was wondering if you would give me another chance to go on your quest.

Martin: My quest?

Harriet: Yeah. I want to help you get your wish.

Martin: You do?

Harriet: Yeah. Is it too late?

Martin: No. Hell no!

Harriet: OK. I know you're not supposed to tell anybody but, if you got it, what would you wish for?

(Martin kisses Harriet)

Martin: That. Was that OK?

(Harriet kisses Martin and cranes fall)

Martin: No way! Did you do all this for me?

Harriet: Yeah. It was worth it. It took me forever, I don't know how I did it by myself but I have the paper cuts to prove it.

Martin: Oh this is the coolest thing anyone has ever done for me.

Harriet: It was worth it.

Martin: Wait, was there actually anything wrong with your computer?

(Harriet shakes head no)

Martin: Oh, you're good.

(Cut to Emma and Alex)

Emma: Do you think she did it yet? How long has it been? What if he says no?

Alex: Would you relax?

Emma: How can you be so calm at a time like this? You know what, this is taking too long. I'm just going to go out there and check on them.

(Emma runs towards door and Alex stops her)

Emma: Just kidding. We are not getting into that again.

Alex: Good, because I almost threw my back out last time.

Emma: That's what you get for trying to restrain a lady against her will.

Alex: As if I could ever get you to do anything against your will.

Emma: Oh.

Alex: Seriously though, you are like unnaturally strong. It's kind of intimidating.

Emma: Oh, so you really think she's OK?

Alex: Emma. You promised Harriet that you would stay out of her affairs.

Emma: I know, I know but I still care about her and I want her to be happy.

Alex: She will be. And no watching the footage afterwards.

Emma: I wouldn't dream of it.

Alex: Mmhmm. Speaking of which, how long do you plan on keeping up with the documenting?

Emma: Until I accept my award for

Alex: Lifestyle Excellence. Right. You know, I do think that you have quite a bit of footage for an exciting documentary already.

Emma: Actually, I've been sending copies to a production company, and they completely agree.

Alex: Wait what? People have been watching us?

Emma: Yeah. And they have some ideas on how to make it bigger and better.

Alex: Emma, we need to discuss this.

Emma: What's there to discuss?

Alex: We make decisions together from now on, remember?

Emma: Of course.

Alex: Emma, I mean it.

Emma: So do I!

Alex: Seriously though, there is a decision we do need to make together.

Emma: Is this about your wardrobe? I promise you can keep all of your khakis. OK well, most of them.

Alex: No, this is about your father.

Emma: My father?

Alex: Have you told him about us yet?

Emma: No. But I'm sure he'll be thrilled. He loves you, he already treats you like a son.

Alex: Yes but you know how your father feels about inter-office relationships. He's always had a pretty firm policy against them.

Emma: I thought you didn't care about that.

Alex: I don't but he's a major investor, and he is your father so his feelings do matter.

Emma: Well, we'll worry about that when we need to.

Alex: If it came down to it, I would be willing to leave the partnership.

Emma: What? No, Alex, you can't.

Alex: I can and I will if that's what Mr. Woodhouse wants. I would much rather be your partner in life than your partner in business.

Emma: And I would rather you be my partner in both. There is no Emma Approved without you. We're a team, Alex Knightley.

Alex: You just keep me around for the boring stuff.

Emma: And the eye candy.

(Harriet comes in)

Harriet: Um Emma?

Emma: Hey Harriet.

Harriet: Do you need anything else from me I was going to take off a little early.

Emma: No, I'm good. You can leave if you need to.

Harriet: Thanks, I'll see you tomorrow. ... He said yes by the way. In case, you were wondering.

Martin: Hi Miss Woodhouse! Hey Alex!

Emma: You sneaky Harriet.

Alex: How are you doing Martin?

Martin: Pretty good man. Pretty good.

(Emma hugs Harriet and Martin)

Martin: Oh um, thanks for your help with the cranes. It was really great.

Emma: No it was all Harriet. Can I get a picture of your two?

Martin: Uh yeah OK

Emma: OK Great

Martin: Great

Emma: Where are you guys off to?

Harriet: Martin has a coupon for a Mexican restaurant that just opened.

Martin: You guys are more than welcome to join us.

Emma: No, you two go alone, enjoy yourselves.

Alex: Maybe we can join you for a drink after.

Emma: Yeah. Save us some nachos. Or something else.

Harriet: Well, we'll see you later.

Emma: Have fun.

(Harriet and Martin leave)

Alex: So. You're OK with that?

Emma: Very.

Alex: Good. But even if you weren't, it doesn't matter, 'cause it's her life and not yours.

Emma: I know. I'm just happy that B-Mart has turned into such a respectable man.

Alex: Has he. Cause I don't think he's changed all that much.

Emma: Maybe I'm the one who's changed.

Alex: Well that's for sure cause the old Emma would have never settled for a guy like me.

Emma: Hey, if this is settling, the old Emma was a fool that she didn't do it a long time ago.

Alex: That's what I kept trying to tell her.

Emma: Oh too bad she never listens to you.

Alex: Guess I was right again.

Emma: Was not.

Alex: Was too.

Emma: Was not.

Alex: Was too.

(They kiss)

Emma: Was not.

(End card)
