Paper Towns is a book about the two teenagers--Quentin Jacobsen and Margo Roth Spiegelman--who live next door to each other.
They were friends as kids but lost contact through high school. While Margo is the popular girl in school, Quentin "Q" is more of a nerd.
One night, Margo comes into Q's room and together they go out and pull pranks on people that hurt Margo.
The day after, Margo is missing and Q is left with little clues to figure out where she went. Once he finds out, he has to get there in very little time.
