The Nerdfighter Kiva Group is a communty of nerdfighters that use Kiva (a microfinancing organization which facilitates small, crowd-funded loans to entrepreneurs in the developing world) to lend money to entrepreneurs in developing countries. The group was formed in September 2008, and has contributed over 299,000 loans to the tune of nearly $9,000,000 (as of July 2017).
